SAP S/4HANA BRIM Specialist

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated SAP S/4HANA BRIM specialist to join our dynamic transformation team.
This role is critical to shaping our next-generation subscription and usage-based billing landscape, ensuring robust revenue
lifecycle processes in a fully integrated SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition environment. You will be responsible for
designing, configuring, and optimizing end-to-end BRIM components, helping us scale our business models that revolve
around subscriptions, consumption billing, project-based services, and modern revenue recognition standards
(IFRS 15/ASC 606).
Key Responsibilities
 (Solution Architecture & Implementation) Lead the design and configuration of SAP BRIM components including:
o Convergent Invoicing (CI) for consolidating charges across services.
o SAP Subscription Billing for recurring and usage-based revenue models.
o FI-CA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable) for mass processing of financial postings, collections,
and dunning.
o Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) aligned to IFRS 15 / ASC 606.
 Translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP S/4HANA Cloud configurations, adhering to the "clean
core" principle.
 Ensure seamless integration across S/4HANA Cloud modules (Sales, Service, Finance) and with external platforms
such as:
o Cevinio, Genesys, and internal applications (CBP, CDB, LOM, MBA).
o SAP BTP-based services and middleware for extensibility and automation.
 Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand subscription billing models, revenue triggers, and
invoicing requirements.
 Document functional designs, interface mappings, configuration steps, and integration logic.
 Contribute to user training, system demos, and end-user documentation.
 Proactively identify and resolve system/process issues in CI, FI-CA, Subscription Billing, or Revenue Recognition.
 Optimize billing accuracy, invoice timing, and revenue treatment while improving operational efficiency.
 Stay updated with SAP’s roadmap for BRIM and Public Cloud innovations (release 2408 and beyond).
 Recommend enhancements aligned with industry best practices for digital subscription and monetization models.
Must-Have
 Proven hands-on expertise in SAP BRIM:
o Convergent Invoicing (CI)
o Subscription Billing
o Contract Accounts Receivable & Payable (FI-CA)
o Revenue Recognition (RAR) in line with IFRS 15
 SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition implementation experience, with knowledge of extensibility frameworks,
integration APIs, and configuration tools.
 Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash, Service Contract Management, and Revenue Lifecycle Management
processes.
 Experience in functional/technical integration with SAP and non-SAP systems.
Desirable
 Exposure to or knowledge of platforms like SAP BTP, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP FIN/HR, and third-party
integrations (e.g., Cevinio, Genesys).
 Familiarity with subscription product catalog design and multi-element revenue arrangements.
 Strong analytical skills to design optimized, future-proof solutions.
